Panasonic PBXs print a Station Message Detail Record (SMDR) line for each call. On models with a LAN SMDR port the PBX waits for a collector to connect and sign in; the Telyzer Relay on a PC in the same network does that and keeps the connection open.
1. Turn on SMDR in the PBX
- In Web Maintenance Console (or PC Programming), go to System → Main → SMDR.
- Set the output port to LAN, and print Outgoing, Incoming and Intercom calls.
- Under SMDR Options note the TCP port (2300 by default) and the SMDR password (the default is
PCCSMDR; change it). - Note the date format (day/month or month/day) the PBX prints.
2. Point the relay at the PBX
Install the relay as described in Windows Lite Relay, then:
& "C:\Program Files\Telyzer Relay\telyzer-relay.exe" set-input --pbx-host 192.168.0.101 --pbx-port 2300 --login SMDR --pbx-password <SMDR password>
Restart-Service TelyzerRelayNote: Older KX-TDA systems print SMDR only on a serial (RS-232) port. Connect it to the network with a serial-to-Ethernet adapter in TCP server mode and point the relay at the adapter without
--login.3. Set the record format in Telyzer
In the portal, open PBX connectors → your relay connector → Record format, choose Panasonic (SMDR), set the date format to match the PBX, and paste a few lines to test. Headings and prompts are skipped; a call marked NA is counted as not answered.
