The Telyzer Relay is a small Windows service for a PC on the same network as your phone system. It receives SMDR records from IP Office over your LAN (or collects Avaya Aura CM files over SFTP), stores them on that PC, and sends them to Telyzer over HTTPS. Only outbound HTTPS (port 443) leaves your network. No inbound port is opened and the PBX is never exposed to the internet.
When to use it
- Your policy requires call records to be encrypted in transit.
- The PBX must not send traffic to the internet, or you cannot add a firewall rule for it.
- You want records kept through long internet outages, beyond IP Office's own 3000-record buffer.
- You run Avaya Aura Communication Manager (see Avaya Aura CM).
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, or Windows Server 2016 or later (64-bit), always on, on the PBX's network.
- Outbound HTTPS to
app.telyzer.com. - Administrator rights on that PC.
Install
- In the portal, open PBX connectors → Add connector and choose Telyzer Relay (Windows PC).
- Choose Download relay for Windows, copy the package to the PC and unzip it.
- Choose Create enrollment code. The code works once and expires in 24 hours.
- Open PowerShell as Administrator in the unzipped folder and run the command below, with your code and your IP Office's LAN address. The installer shows this PC's LAN address.
Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process Bypass
.\install.ps1 -Code TZR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX -PbxIp 192.168.1.10Choosing the port or network card
By default the relay listens on TCP port 33333. To use another port, or to listen on one specific network card, add -Port and -ListenAddress:
.\install.ps1 -Code TZR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX -PbxIp 192.168.1.10 -Port 5000 -ListenAddress 192.168.1.50Point IP Office at the relay
In IP Office Manager → System → CDR/SMDR:
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
Output | SMDR Only |
IP Address | The relay PC's LAN address (shown by the installer). |
TCP Port | 33333, or the port you chose. |
Records to Buffer | 3000 |
Call Splitting for Diverts | On. |
Save, merge, and make a test call. It appears in Telyzer within a few seconds.
Changing the address or port later
Use set-input, restart the service, and set the same port in IP Office. --allow is the IP Office address the relay accepts records from.
& "C:\Program Files\Telyzer Relay\telyzer-relay.exe" set-input --listen-port 5000 --listen-address 192.168.1.50 --allow 192.168.1.10
Restart-Service TelyzerRelayIf IP Office is set to listen instead (SMDR IP Address 0.0.0.0), point the relay at it:
& "C:\Program Files\Telyzer Relay\telyzer-relay.exe" set-input --pbx-host 192.168.1.10 --pbx-port 33333
Restart-Service TelyzerRelayChecking status
On the relay PC, open http://localhost:8765 in a browser, or run:
& "C:\Program Files\Telyzer Relay\telyzer-relay.exe" statusIn the portal, the connector shows the Relay PC, its Last check-in, how many records are Waiting on the PC, and its Version. If the relay has not checked in for more than 5 minutes, the connector shows Relay offline.
If the internet is down
Records keep arriving from IP Office and wait on the relay PC's disk. They upload automatically when the connection returns. Keep the PC switched on: if the relay PC itself is off, IP Office can only hold its own buffer of up to 3000 records until the relay is back.
Removing the relay
.\uninstall.ps1 # keeps unsent records on disk
.\uninstall.ps1 -RemoveData # also deletes them
