Import call record files

Upload SMDR text files to load history, fill a gap, or try Telyzer before connecting live.

Documentation menu

You can upload SMDR files exported from your PBX or from an older call logger. Imported records go through exactly the same processing as live records, so reports treat them the same way. Use it to load history from before you connected, to fill a gap, or to try Telyzer during the trial with no setup.

How to import

  1. Open PBX connectors. Use the existing connector for the same phone system, or choose Add connector → File import.
  2. On the connector, under Import SMDR file, choose Choose file and pick the file.
  3. When it finishes, the connector shows how many records were new, how many were already received, and how many were rejected.

Which files work

  • Plain-text SMDR, one record per line, as Avaya IP Office writes it. Files ending in .txt, .csv or .log are accepted.
  • Up to 25 MB per file. Split larger exports into several files.
  • Rejected lines are lines that could not be read as call records, such as headers or a different format.

Importing the same records twice

Each record is checked against those already received for that connector. Re-importing a file, or importing a period that overlaps live collection, adds only the records Telyzer does not have yet; the rest are counted as already received.
