If your company uses Microsoft 365 or Entra ID, members can sign in to Telyzer with their work account instead of a separate password. Your directory's own password and multi-factor rules then apply when they sign in.
Connect your Microsoft directory
- An owner or administrator opens Settings → Sign in with Microsoft.
- Choose Connect with Microsoft and sign in with your own Microsoft work account. This is done once.
- Back in Telyzer the card shows Connected, the Microsoft directory (tenant ID), and how many members have signed in with Microsoft.
How members sign in
- On the sign-in page, members choose Sign in with Microsoft.
- The first time, Telyzer matches them by email: their Microsoft account must have the same email as their Telyzer account, and they must be an active member of an organization connected to that directory. The two accounts are then linked, so later sign-ins work even if the email changes.
- Nobody gets an account this way. Invite people from Team → Invite people first.
- Telyzer receives only the person's name, email and account identifiers from Microsoft, never their password.
- It also works on a partner's own web address, if you use Telyzer through a partner.
Require Microsoft sign-in
Once connected, Require Microsoft sign-in makes Microsoft the only way in for members: password sign-in stops working for them, and anyone signed in with a password is asked to sign out and choose Sign in with Microsoft. Owners can still use their password, so you can always get back in to change the setting.
If sign-in does not work
| Message | What to do |
|---|---|
| That Microsoft account isn't linked to a Telyzer user | The Microsoft email doesn't match a member, or the organization is not connected to that directory. Check the member's email under Team, or sign in with the password. |
| That Microsoft account is already linked to another Telyzer user | Shown when connecting: the account you used is linked to someone else. Connect with your own account. |
| The sign-in took too long or was opened in another browser | Start again from the sign-in page in one browser. |
| Microsoft sign-in was cancelled | The Microsoft page was closed or refused. Try again. |
Disconnecting
Disconnect removes the directory: members sign in with their passwords again, and the requirement is switched off. Connecting, disconnecting and changing the requirement are recorded in the Audit log.
