Excel & Power BI (OData feed)

Load your call data straight into Excel or Power BI with an API key, and refresh it whenever you like.

Documentation menu

Telyzer publishes a read-only OData v4 feed that Excel and Power BI can open directly. Your calls arrive as tables you can pivot, chart and refresh, without exporting files. The feed is part of API access, available on the Business and Enterprise plans and during your trial.

1. Create an API key

Open API & webhooks → New key, name it (for example “Power BI refresh”) and choose its access:

  • call records (numbers masked) for the Calls table;
  • reports and exports for the other tables;
  • show full phone numbers if the people using the workbook may see them.

Copy the key when it is shown: it is shown only once. The Excel and Power BI card on the same page shows your Data feed address, https://app.telyzer.com/odata/v1.

Important: An API key belongs to the organization, not to a person: it is not limited to a member's sites or departments. Give feed keys only to people who may see every call, and Revoke a key you no longer use.

2. Connect Excel or Power BI

LocalDate, LocalTime and LocalHour are the wall-clock time at the call's site; StartUtc is UTC. Costs are the estimate from your tariff (see Call costs).

Large histories and query options

  • Rows arrive in pages of 5,000; Excel and Power BI follow the pages automatically.
  • The feed understands what Excel and Power BI send: $select, $filter (eq, ne, gt, ge, lt, le, and, or, not, contains, startswith, endswith), $orderby, $top, $skip and $count. Text matching is case-sensitive.
  • A step the feed can't do (for example grouping) returns a clear message; remove that step from the query, or apply it after the data has loaded.
  • Without show full phone numbers, the Number column is masked and can't be filtered or sorted on.
  • Each key can make up to 300 requests a minute, like the rest of the API.
