3CX Phone System

Send 3CX call records (CDR) straight to Telyzer over one TCP port, or through the Telyzer Relay on your network.

Documentation menu

3CX (versions 16 to 20) writes one comma-separated CDR line for each call, with the fields ticked under CDR output fields, in that order. 3CX connects out to a server and sends each line when the call ends. Telyzer reads the lines the same way whether 3CX sends them to Telyzer directly or to the Telyzer Relay on your network.

1. Add a connector

  1. In the portal, open PBX connectors → Add connector and choose the site.
  2. Choose Direct push (no install) if 3CX can reach the internet on one outbound TCP port. The connector shows its address and port. Otherwise choose Telyzer Relay (Windows PC) and install the relay as described in Telyzer Relay for Windows; 3CX then sends to the relay PC's address and listen port (33333 unless you chose another).
  3. Open the connector → Record format and choose 3CX Phone System (CDR).

2. Turn on CDR in 3CX

  1. In the 3CX Admin Console, open Settings → CDR and switch CDR on.
  2. Choose the TCP output where 3CX connects to a server (active socket), and enter the address and port from step 1.
  3. Keep time-start, from-no and to-no switched on under CDR output fields; Telyzer needs them. Note the order of the fields if you change it.

3. Check the record format in Telyzer

The field list on the connector's Record format is filled in with 3CX's default order. If you changed the fields in 3CX, list them in the same order, comma-separated. Tick 3CX writes CDR times in UTC only if 3CX is set to write UTC times; leave it unticked for the PBX's local time. Paste a few CDR lines to test before you save.

Important: Direct push is plain TCP, like IP Office SMDR. The connector accepts records only from the addresses you allow; over the internet, restrict it to your 3CX's public address or send it through a site-to-site VPN, or use the relay, which uploads over HTTPS.

Make an external call and hang up: the record arrives seconds later and the connector shows Receiving.
