How to connect Alcatel-Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise (OXE Purple, OmniPCX Enterprise R12+) to Telyzer Cloud and to a Telyzer Server.

Real-time accounting tickets over Ethernet (port 2533)

Recommended for Telyzer Cloud and Telyzer Server. Ethernet and V24 ticket output exclude each other. Telyzer connects to the active CPU's address; with a spatial-redundancy pair use the main address.

Telyzer Cloud

  1. Check the OXE licence includes accounting over Ethernet (ask your Alcatel-Lucent partner if the option is greyed out).
  2. In mgr open Applications > Accounting > Review/Modify: set Internal Accounting to Yes and Real Time Tickets Output to Ethernet; under the real-time ticket output parameters choose public and private, incoming and outgoing calls.
  3. Install the Telyzer Relay on a Windows PC in the same network as the PBX. In the relay choose "Telyzer connects to the PBX" and enter the PBX's address your PBX's address and port your PBX's port; the relay keeps the connection open and sends the records to Telyzer over HTTPS (outbound only).
  4. On the relay PC (PowerShell as Administrator) that is: telyzer-relay add-collector --kind tcp_connect --host your PBX's address --port your PBX's port --protocol oxe, then Restart-Service TelyzerRelay.

Telyzer Server

  1. Check the licence includes accounting over Ethernet, then in mgr set Applications > Accounting: Internal Accounting = Yes, Real Time Tickets Output = Ethernet.
  2. On this connector choose "Telyzer connects to the PBX" and enter the PBX's address your PBX's address and port your PBX's port. The server's built-in gateway connects from your Telyzer address and keeps the connection open; allow it through any firewall between the server and the PBX.

Check that it works: Make a short outside call and an internal call. Within a minute the connector shows "First call record received"; if it shows records that were not read, open the raw line and send it to support.

Ticket files (OmniVista 8770 or /usr4/account)

Telyzer Cloud

  1. Export the accounting tickets as files (OmniVista 8770 ticket collector, or the TAXA files) into the watched folder on the relay PC; the relay reads each new file.
  2. To have the relay read the folder, run on the relay PC (PowerShell as Administrator): telyzer-relay watch-folder --dir the watched folder, then Restart-Service TelyzerRelay.

Telyzer Server

  1. Export the accounting tickets as files into the watched folder on the server; the server reads each new file.

Check that it works

  1. Make an external test call and hang up. The phone system sends the record when the call ends, so it arrives a few seconds later.
  2. In Telyzer, Waiting for the first call record turns green when the first record is read. If it shows a problem instead — no connection yet, connections refused, or records that could not be read — it names the cause and shows the line received.
