How to connect Ericsson-LG iPECS (eMG80, eMG800, UCP, iPECS-MG, LIK) to Telyzer Cloud and to a Telyzer Server.
Values in dashed boxes are this organization's own: the portal's How to connect panel shows them filled in, with copy buttons.
On-line SMDR over TCP
Recommended for Telyzer Cloud and Telyzer Server.
Telyzer Cloud
- In Web Admin open System Data > Serial Port Selections (PGM 175) and assign On-line SMDR to a TCP channel with a port, for example 5700. In SMDR Attributes (PGM 177) set Print Enable on, Record Type ALL, Print Incoming Call, Print Lost Call and ICM Print on. In ISDN Attributes (PGM 200) set CLI Print To Serial on.
- Install the Telyzer Relay on a Windows PC in the same network as the PBX. In the relay choose "Telyzer connects to the PBX" and enter the PBX's address your PBX's address and port your PBX's port; the relay keeps the connection open and sends the records to Telyzer over HTTPS (outbound only).
- On the relay PC (PowerShell as Administrator) that is:
telyzer-relay add-collector --kind tcp_connect --host your PBX's address --port your PBX's port, thenRestart-Service TelyzerRelay.
Telyzer Server
- Assign On-line SMDR to a TCP channel and port in PGM 175, and in PGM 177 print all calls, incoming, lost and intercom calls.
- On this connector choose "Telyzer connects to the PBX" and enter the PBX's address your PBX's address and port your PBX's port. The server's built-in gateway connects from your Telyzer address and keeps the connection open; allow it through any firewall between the server and the PBX.
| Enter on the PBX | Value |
|---|---|
| PBX address | your PBX's address |
| PBX port (PGM 175) | your PBX's port |
Check that it works: Make a short outside call and an internal call. Within a minute the connector shows "First call record received"; if it shows records that were not read, open the raw line and send it to support.
Check that it works
- Make an external test call and hang up. The phone system sends the record when the call ends, so it arrives a few seconds later.
- In Telyzer, Waiting for the first call record turns green when the first record is read. If it shows a problem instead — no connection yet, connections refused, or records that could not be read — it names the cause and shows the line received.
