How to connect Mitel MiVoice Business (3300 ICP, MiVoice Business Virtual, MiVoice Business ISS / EX) to Telyzer Cloud and to a Telyzer Server.
Values in dashed boxes are this organization's own: the portal's How to connect panel shows them filled in, with copy buttons.
SMDR over TCP (Telyzer connects to port 1752)
Recommended for Telyzer Cloud and Telyzer Server. The controller accepts up to 10 SMDR connections. In real-time mode a record is not kept once sent, so keep the relay or server running.
Telyzer Cloud
- In the System Administration Tool open System Properties > System Feature Settings > SMDR Options: set Report Outgoing Calls, Report Incoming Calls and Report Internal Calls to Yes, and SMDR Real Time Reporting to Yes. Extended Digit Length, Extended Time to Answer, ANI/DNIS reporting and Standardized Call ID may be on or off — Telyzer reads each layout.
- In Application Logical Ports assign LPR1 to SMDR Logs, and in Class of Service Options set "SMDR - External" and "SMDR - Internal" to Yes for the stations' and the trunks' classes of service. Give each SIP peer an SMDR tag so its trunk is named on the record.
- Install the Telyzer Relay on a Windows PC in the same network as the PBX. In the relay choose "Telyzer connects to the PBX" and enter the PBX's address your PBX's address and port your PBX's port; the relay keeps the connection open and sends the records to Telyzer over HTTPS (outbound only).
- On the relay PC (PowerShell as Administrator) that is:
telyzer-relay add-collector --kind tcp_connect --host your PBX's address --port your PBX's port, thenRestart-Service TelyzerRelay.
Telyzer Server
- In the System Administration Tool open System Properties > System Feature Settings > SMDR Options and switch on outgoing, incoming and internal reporting and SMDR Real Time Reporting; assign LPR1 to SMDR Logs and turn on SMDR in the stations' and trunks' classes of service.
- On this connector choose "Telyzer connects to the PBX" and enter the PBX's address your PBX's address and port your PBX's port. The server's built-in gateway connects from your Telyzer address and keeps the connection open; allow it through any firewall between the server and the PBX.
| Enter on the PBX | Value |
|---|---|
| PBX address | your PBX's address |
| PBX port | 1752 |
Check that it works: Make a short outside call and an internal call. Within a minute the connector shows "First call record received"; if it shows records that were not read, open the raw line and send it to support.
Check that it works
- Make an external test call and hang up. The phone system sends the record when the call ends, so it arrives a few seconds later.
- In Telyzer, Waiting for the first call record turns green when the first record is read. If it shows a problem instead — no connection yet, connections refused, or records that could not be read — it names the cause and shows the line received.
