How to connect Unify (Siemens) OpenScape Business / HiPath 3000 (OpenScape Business X1–X8, OpenScape Business S, HiPath 3000) to Telyzer Cloud and to a Telyzer Server.
Values in dashed boxes are this organization's own: the portal's How to connect panel shows them filled in, with copy buttons.
Call charges, LAN-TCP-Client (the PBX connects to Telyzer)
Recommended for Telyzer Cloud and Telyzer Server. The time on each record is when the call ended; dates are DD.MM.YY (MM.DD.YY on North American systems — change the date order on the connector).
Telyzer Cloud
- In OpenScape Business Assistant (WBM) open Expert mode > Telephony > Basic Settings > Call charges > Call charges - output format, or in Manager E System status > Call charges > Output format. Choose LAN-TCP-Client, switch on "Log incoming calls" and "Call duration", and keep the separator | (or ;).
- If the PBX can reach the internet, enter this connector's address your Telyzer address and port your connector's port on the PBX (direct push) and add your office's public IP address to the connector's allowed addresses. Otherwise install the Telyzer Relay on a PC in the PBX's network and enter the relay PC's address the relay PC's address and port 33333 instead.
- Through the relay: it listens on port 33333; to accept records from the PBX only, run on the relay PC (PowerShell as Administrator):
telyzer-relay set-input --listen-port 33333 --allow your PBX's address, thenRestart-Service TelyzerRelay.
Telyzer Server
- In WBM Expert mode > Telephony > Basic Settings > Call charges choose output LAN-TCP-Client with incoming calls and call duration logged.
- Enter the server's built-in gateway address your Telyzer address and port your connector's port on the PBX, and allow that port through the Windows firewall on the server for the PBX's address.
| Enter on the PBX | Value |
|---|---|
| Address | your Telyzer address |
| Port | your connector's port |
Check that it works: Make a short outside call and an internal call. Within a minute the connector shows "First call record received"; if it shows records that were not read, open the raw line and send it to support.
Check that it works
- Make an external test call and hang up. The phone system sends the record when the call ends, so it arrives a few seconds later.
- In Telyzer, Waiting for the first call record turns green when the first record is read. If it shows a problem instead — no connection yet, connections refused, or records that could not be read — it names the cause and shows the line received.
